BRICS SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE WEEK

1-7 November 2026

“Small steps towards sustainability lead to giant leaps for our planet.”

Notre Dame School, Najafgarh observed BRICS Sustainable Lifestyle Week from 1st to 7th November, 2026 with the objective of creating awareness among students about the importance of adopting sustainable and environmentally responsible lifestyles. The observance highlighted the need to conserve natural resources, reduce waste, minimise plastic usage and promote the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Students were encouraged to understand how small changes in their daily habits can make a significant difference in protecting the environment. Various awareness activities, including poster-making, discussions and messages on sustainable living, inspired students to become responsible citizens.

They were sensitised towards saving water and electricity, planting trees, maintaining cleanliness and making eco-friendly choices. The initiative also emphasised the importance of collective efforts and international cooperation in addressing environmental challenges.

Through this observance, students were motivated to develop habits that contribute to a cleaner, greener and healthier planet. The school reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious individuals who can contribute towards a sustainable future for all.

The week served as a meaningful reminder that sustainability is not just a concept but a responsibility that each one of us must embrace. It inspired students to reflect on their lifestyle choices and understand that the future of our planet depends on the actions we take today.

Let us join hands to create a greener, cleaner and healthier world for generations to come. Together, we can turn small steps into a big movement for a sustainable future!

“There is no Planet B. Protect the Earth, preserve the future.”
