Child Safety Month - July 2026

सुरक्षित बचपन, सशक्त भविष्य
Safe School • Happy Children

In accordance with the initiative of CBSE and the State Government, July is observed as POCSO Awareness Month to strengthen awareness about child protection and safety.

At Notre Dame School, the month was marked with a variety of meaningful, age-appropriate activities designed to help students understand the importance of personal safety. Through interactive classroom discussions, role plays, awareness sessions, and special assemblies, children were encouraged to learn about protecting themselves and seeking support whenever required.

Students were introduced to essential topics including personal safety, good touch and bad touch, identifying trusted adults, cyber safety, school safety practices, the purpose of the complaint box, and child helpline services. The activities were conducted in an engaging and child-friendly manner to ensure that every student could understand these important concepts with confidence.

Our objective is to equip every child with the awareness, confidence, and responsibility to recognize unsafe situations, make informed choices, and speak up without hesitation. At Notre Dame School, we remain committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where every child feels protected and valued.

At Notre Dame School, every child's safety, dignity and well-being remain our highest priority. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where students learn, grow and thrive with confidence.

Through our Child Protection Policy, awareness programmes, counselling support and active participation of teachers and parents, we ensure that every child feels respected, heard and protected.

Every Child Matters. Every Child Deserves to Feel Safe.
